MONITORING AND EVALUATION

One of the greatest challenges to communicating positive change is evidencing your DinT in the world.  We offer targeted support to your organisation, embedded within your communication strategy and who you want to influence and how.

We aim to empower your organisation by giving you the skills and confidence to design, review and use effective tools to demonstrate results, address warning signs from your data and be mindful of using evidence to influence others.

How we can help you:

  • Articulating the change you want to see in focused indicators that can adapt to real life

  • Co-design, effective and easy to use monitoring tools to capture change

  • Co-author baseline studies to capture what the situation looks like now

  • Support regular monitoring of results (with tools co-designed with you or using tools used by a group with similar shared goals)

  • Online forums to exchange experience with those seeking change in similar areas

  • Encouraging your partners to share information and improve accountability and linking monitoring and communications strategies

  • Give guidance on evaluating projects and how to embed learning to increase your DinT

Monitoring and evaluation is often seen as technical and the results are not widely shared and accessible to everyone in the organisation.  At DinT, each group has targeted support as long as they need at no additional cost. In return we ask you to commit to upload your evidence of change to our DinT Annual Progress chart, helping to evidence DinT at a global scale that is accessible to everyone to build a momentum for results-orientated community-led action.

Sustainability Action Platform

We support and facilitate sharing of ideas and enthusiasm between groups who want to make their DINT on a better world through planning and policy activism in our forthcoming Sustainability Action Platform (SAP). By bringing communities together at a global level we want to make a DinT in political and economic power relationships, from control and competition, towards spontaneous and purposeful change. You can find out more about SAP in this presentation.
