aboutus

We pride ourselves on our upholding our core values of transparency, personal realisation and fairness to people and planet, and we only work with clients who share them.

We contribute to other projects that support caring, sharing, inspiring and empowering projects where communities and the natural world work in harmony.

We work with a number of DinT associates who offer specialist support in different areas and places to help maximise opportunities for face-to-face support. If you are working towards positive change in your community or organisation in the North, South, East or West - or anywhere in between - our specialist team can help your organisation to express the change you want to see in the world and measure your progress towards achieving your goal of improving in the places that matter to you. We don’t want to reinvent the wheel but we do want to make the cogs of positive change spin faster.

Dr. Amy Burnett, DinT Founder, has a strong academic and practitioner background.  Her PhD is on Frome’s (Somerset, UK) experience with the Neighbourhood Planning process (currently in progress). She co-authored a chapter in the book ‘Neighbourhood Planning: Power to the People?’ (2017, published by Policy Press and edited by Brownhill and Bradley), and has been active in supporting local groups on low-carbon policies in partnership with the Centre of Sustainability.

As an Monitoring & Evaluation consultant, communications specialist and researcher, Amy has 15 years of experience working with a number of NGOs, charities, think tanks, and community groups within the international and UK development sectors. These include CARE, Save the Children, ODI’s Climate Change, Environment and Forests Programme, the Climate Change and Development Knowledge Network’s (CDKN), and Transition Network. She provides support to Neighbourhood Planning groups in plan writing, design and communications, consultation, policy writing, data analysis and evidence-gathering.
